Position Summary:This role is responsible for balancing supply and demand for finished goods to ensure that customer service level, inventory targets and assigned KPIs are met.
KeyDuties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective inventory planning of specific products by utilizing MRP outputs for each of the manufacturing centers accountable for the production of products.
- Participate in the S&OP process, create Intake Plan and collaborate with Global Planning team, factories, suppliers, to coordinate on issues such as capacity, shortfalls or excess inventory.
- Collaborate with Demand Planners to review sales data, new customer data, new product introduction, product transition, promotions, to improve forecast accuracy, fulfillment rate and inventory KPIs.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and build strong working relationships across multiple functional areas within the organization.
- Strong process improvement skills, with ability to participate and developing the use of continuous improvement techniques to achieve operational excellence.
- Work with factories or suppliers to ensure shipment problems are promptly solved.
- Proficient in using ERP systems including but not limited to master data management, MRP utilization, product purchasing and report creation and export.
- Work in accordance with principles of TS16949 and assist in realizing departmental objectives with respect to the Quality Management System.
- Provide reporting and analysis as required – DRM (KPI Measurements), Inventory $, Slow Moving Stock, Supplier performance, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Team Lead / Manager.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Math / Statistics / Science or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency required in MS Office applications, especially in Excel and SAP or an equivalent ERP system.
- 5 year experiences in Supply Planning.
- Ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment, flexible and adaptable to changing priorities attention to detail.
- Must have excellent analytical and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- We expect to pay within the range of $75K – 90K per year for this role. This range represents base salary and does not reflect benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries reflect several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, education/certifications and specific work location.
