Hillside Investments is seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day operations on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of ground-up construction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve any site issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, testers, and company policies.
- Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and address delays proactively.
- Conduct site inspections and enforce quality control measures.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, documentation, and communication with the project team.
- Handle site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment management, and workforce coordination.
- 5+ years of experience as a commercial construction Superintendent with ground-up construction experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Superintendent.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
- OSHA certification and familiarity with safety regulations preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
