Purpose of the Position
The teacher designs learning experiences that make content meaningful to all students, applying central concepts, inquiry methods, and disciplinary structures.
Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure actions align with Board policies, mission, and strategic plan.
- Participate in training and professional growth opportunities.
- Perform related duties to support an efficient work environment.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities promoting active learning.
- Use an inquiry‑based delivery model.
- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources.
- Employ a wide range of instructional strategies and technologies for diverse learners.
- Apply equitable resources and instructional practices for diverse students.
- Maintain accurate records as required by law, policies, and regulations.
- Create and sustain a safe learning environment.
- Use effective behavior management techniques for all students, including those with disabilities.
