Product Management Team Manager

General Responsibilities

Manages, supports, and performs various functions within the Product Management Team to lead the design, documentation, testing, and marketing of WTC products.

• Leads a cross-functional team in the design, documentation, and testing of products
• Supports market research and the development of new WTC business opportunities
• Provides technical support to customers and partners
• Provides technical support to WTC teams (i.e., Engineering, Sales, and Technical Service teams)
• Supports the development of the product vision and roadmaps to align with business objectives
• Travels as needed (domestic and international)

• Implements / enforces WTC policies and procedures
• Sets PMT team goals and tracks KPIs
• Holds review meetings at the end of major projects
• Performs interviews to help recruit new TMs, as needed
• Performs appraisals (90-day for new TMs and annual for existing)
• Approves time off according to WTC policy and procedures
• Mentors and supports the continued professional development of PMT members
• Counsels TMs, as needed, and properly documents counseling activity

• Excellent presentation, communication, and leadership skills to interact effectively with all levels of management, customers, suppliers, and WTC team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
• Passion for delivering products focused on quality and customer experience
• Knowledge and experience with networking and automation control technology
• Knowledge and experience with resistance welding processes and equipment

• Bachelor of Science in Welding Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or related engineering discipline
• At least 5 years of proven and progressive product management and engineering experience
