Land Development Internship – Summer 2026

Locations: Grand Rapids, MI & Farmington Hills, MI

Duration: Summer Internship (Full-Time)

Are you a civil engineering student ready to turn classroom concepts into real-world impact? Fishbeck is looking for driven, curious, and collaborative interns to join our Land Development team for Summer 2026 from either our Grand Rapids or Farmington Hills office. You’ll work side‑by‑side with experienced engineers and planners on meaningful projects that shape communities.

• Research development sites, zoning, and environmental factors.
• Assist with feasibility studies and due diligence reports.
• Collaborate on site plans and design layouts.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to draft real project designs.
• Join site visits to see how designs come to life.
• Help maintain project documentation and reports.

• Enrolled in a Civil Engineering program.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Previous internship or field experience is helpful but not required.
