Why this role mattersDefine the hardware architecture behind next‑generation vehicle computing platforms. As a Hardware Architect, you will shape ECU and Smart Cockpit systems while collaborating with global engineering teams and semiconductor partners to influence platform direction and system performance.
Key Responsibilities- Define and evolve hardware architecture for ECU and Smart Cockpit platforms
- Translate system requirements into hardware specifications (compute, memory, high‑speed interfaces)
- Contribute to CPU/GPU/RAM/Flash/NPU resource planning
- Support SoC evaluation and selection with customers and ecosystem partners
- Lead technical discussions with semiconductor partners on technology roadmaps
- Identify architectural risks and define mitigation strategies
Optimize hardware for performance, power efficiency, and cost - Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards and customer requirements
- Participate in cross‑functional architecture reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of hardware architecture/development experience (automotive preferred)
- ARM and/or RISC‑V familiarity
- Experience with Ser Des, CAN, LIN, Ethernet
- Hardware integration and validation experience
- ASPICE familiarity preferred
- Experience in ADAS, infotainment, or connected systems
- Understanding of vehicle network architecture and gateways
- Comfortable working in global engineering environments
