Employment Type: Full‑Time
What You’ll Do- Prepare and submit water‑related permits (Groundwater Discharge, NPDES, Soil Erosion, Part 22).
- Collaborate on Special Use, Inland Lake and Stream permits, and Water Withdrawal Use registration.
- Develop environmental plans (SPCC, PIPP, HWCP, SWPPP) and complete associated requirements, including inspections and collecting and assessing storm water samples.
- Maintain compliance records and reporting for environmental permits.
- Conduct compliance audits through inspections, data gathering, and document reviews; recommend corrective actions and prepare reports.
- Perform air emission inventories, compliance reviews, and greenhouse gas (GHG) calculations.
- Assist clients in achieving sustainability goals such as zero waste to landfill.
- Provide on‑site regulatory assistance at industrial facilities.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field (minor in Sustainability is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance (consulting, EHS management, or regulatory agency).
- Experience in hazardous waste management and environmental reporting.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for proposals and reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas and calculations).
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to work in an office setting and travel to project sites. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver outdoors, and use technical equipment for documentation. Visual acuity and spatial awareness are essential.
