Job Requirements:
- 1-5 years' experience in Asbestos inspections, oversight, and other related job responsibilities
- Valid Asbestos Building Inspector Accreditation with annual inspector refresher courses
- High school diploma
- Ability to implement required procedures while working independently.
- Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Strong technical writing skills, proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational and communications skills.
- Must hold a valid driver's license.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current with 8-hour refresher courses.
Successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment providing asbestos related services.
- Assist in the verification, quantification, and collection of building materials for asbestos analysis
- Oversee abatement contractors
- Assist in the compilation and writing of reports
- Maintaining daily work logs while on a demolition or renovation jobsite
- Remaining clean-shaven when scope of work requires respirator use.
