Director of Commercial Finance

A great client at UHY is seeking a Director of Commercial Finance
. The ideal candidate will have commercial finance leadership experience, strong financial modeling skills, and expertise in pricing and profitability analysis.

The Director of Commercial Finance role is a hybrid position, with 4 days onsite each week. This is a client direct hire position.

• Build and lead the Commercial Finance function, including processes, systems, and team development
• Partner with commercial and operational leaders to drive strategic, data-driven decision making
• Lead customer pricing and quoting activities, including pricing models, profitability analyses, and competitive assessments
• Develop financial models and business cases to support capital investments and commercial initiatives
• Analyze customer, product, and segment profitability to identify growth and margin improvement opportunities
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities in partnership with Finance and Commercial teams
• Review commercial contracts and advise on pricing, financial risks, and key contract terms
• Develop financial dashboards, reporting tools, and scalable commercial finance processes
• Manage, mentor, and develop finance team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement

• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in large, complex organizations
• Strong financial modeling, pricing, and profitability analysis experience
• Experience supporting commercial strategy, negotiations, and customer decision-making
• Proven ability to build scalable financial tools, systems, and reporting capabilities
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution
• Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams
• High level of integrity and sound financial judgment
