Bright Spot Counseling is seeking talented Clinical Therapists who are trained in or excited to become trained in EMDR therapy to work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and perfectionism.

• Provide high-quality counseling services (in-person and/or virtual) in line with Bright Spot’s mission and policies.
• Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours and offer timely evaluations and care.
• Coordinate care with other providers (e.g., PCPs, psychiatrists) as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation (intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans).
• Adhere to insurance guidelines, including documentation and care coordination requirements.
• Actively participate as a collaborative and respectful team member.
• Promote your services to reach clients within your niche.
• Stay updated on therapy trends, insurance guidelines, and legal standards.
• Engage in regular supervision and professional development if holding a Limited License.

• Aligned with Our Mission :

• Licensed :
  You have a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work with an active Michigan license (PhD, PsyD, LMSW-C, LLMSW, LMFT).
• Experienced :
  At least one year of clinical experience, preferably in private practice.
• Organized and Communicative :
  Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Team Player :
  You work well independently and collaboratively.
• Niche Focus :
  Specialized in areas like trauma, anxiety, or depression.
