Level 2 IT Technician – Full-Time

We’re a dynamic, multi-state law firm headquartered in Farmington Hills, MI, seeking a technically skilled and service-driven Level 2 IT Technician to join our growing team. What You’ll Do
  • Provide advanced support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across the firm
  • Troubleshoot escalated tickets from Level 1 support and ensure timely resolution
  • Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Maintain user accounts, permissions, and systems within Active Directory and other tools
  • Assist in implementing IT projects, system upgrades, and security protocols
  • Monitor system performance and support server infrastructure, backups, and data integrity
  • Document processes and contribute to knowledge base development

Skills & Experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and remote desktop tools
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN), Active Directory, and ticketing systems
  • 2+ years of IT support experience (Level 1/2 support required)
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications preferred

Schedule & Expectations
  • 8-hour shifts (Monday to Friday)
  • Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required during upgrades or emergencies
  • Candidates must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Farmington Hills, MI before starting work
