Business Development leader to drive net-new revenue across Data & AI, ERP modernization, Cloud, and IT professional services/Staffing.
This role is responsible not only for closing deals but for building DCG’s sales engine — establishing process, packaging offerings, and opening new markets. The position anchors initial go-to-market efforts in Michigan/Midwest, leveraging DCG’s manufacturing, automotive, and utilities expertise while positioning the firm as a cross-industry Data & AI solutions partner.
You will engage Director, VP, and C-level stakeholders in IT, Operations, Finance, and Digital Transformation functions.

- Prospecting & Net-New Selling – 55%
- Sales Process & GTM Build – 15%
- Proposal/RFP & Deal Structuring – 15%
- Internal Enablement (service packaging, messaging, case studies) – 10%
Technology & solution-led positioning — sell Data & AI solutions tied to business outcomes rather than narrow industry labels.
Leverage deep expertise in manufacturing, automotive, and utilities while expanding cross-industry.
Anchor early growth in Michigan/Midwest for the first 90 days.
Link ERP/SAP modernization to Data & AI transformation opportunities.
Core Responsibilities New Business AcquisitionBuild pipeline of net-new enterprise clients, execute outreach, and develop territory plans.
Consultative Solution SellingPosition Data & AI, ERP modernization, Cloud, systems integration, application development, and professional services/staffing.
Engage CIO, CTO, CDO, VP Manufacturing, Supply Chain leaders, CFO, FP&A leaders, Digital Transformation leaders, and Operational Excellence leaders.
Sales Strategy & GTM DevelopmentRefine sales motion, identify verticals, provide market insights.
Proposal & Deal ExecutionLead RFPs, coordinate delivery teams, support pricing and negotiation.
Maintain pipeline discipline, forecasting, and CRM process improvements.
Ideal Candidate Profile- 5-7+ years in IT consulting/professional services business development.
- Proven hunter with net-new enterprise wins.
- Experience selling Data/AI, ERP, Cloud, or Digital Transformation services.
- Comfortable building in low-structured environments.
- Strong executive presence and negotiation skills.
- History of closing multi-million-dollar services deals.
