The Supply Chain Analytics team helps transform data into actionable insights that support decision-making across Amway's supply chain organization. By partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams, the group develops data solutions, reporting tools, analytics, and automation capabilities that improve efficiency and visibility across the enterprise.
This team sits at the intersection of technology and business. Interns have the opportunity to work on real-world supply chain challenges while gaining exposure to data analytics, business processes, emerging AI capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration. The work completed by this team directly supports operational effectiveness and strategic decision-making.
How would an intern contribute to the team’s success:As a Supply Chain Analytics Intern, you will work with teams across the supply chain organization on meaningful projects that leverage data, analytics, automation, and emerging AI capabilities to improve business processes and decision-making.
Potential responsibilities may include:Supporting the development, maintenance, and enhancement of data platforms and reporting solutions
Analyzing trends and business data to uncover insights and opportunities
Creating dashboards and visualizations that help stakeholders make informed decisions
Improving data collection, accessibility, and reporting processes
Collaborating with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
Exploring opportunities to leverage automation and AI capabilities to improve efficiency and business outcomes
Throughout the internship, you will gain experience working at the intersection of supply chain operations, analytics, and technology while developing skills in data storytelling, stakeholder management, and business problem-solving.
An example of a typical project would be:Example #1 - Supply Chain Dashboard Development
Design and enhance dashboards that provide visibility into key supply chain performance metrics. Work with stakeholders to determine reporting needs and create visualizations that support decision-making.
Analyze existing data flows and reporting processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, automation, and improved data quality.
Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze operational trends, generate actionable insights, and present recommendations that help improve business performance.
