As a member of the Information Technology team, the Network Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations and providing technical support to the Agency’s employees. Responsible for establishing a formal presence and provides assistance with hardware and software problems to all users throughout the Agency sites. Additional responsibilities include participation in all technology upgrades and network configuration changes.

Staff must possess a strong working knowledge of Agency’s operating and network systems. Staff must possess computer, typing, grammar, punctuation, proofreading, transcription, phone proficiencies and excellent communication and customer relations skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, business partners and community stakeholders. Additionally, the employee must exercise independent decision-making and work effectively in a team-based environment. The employee will complete other tasks as needed in various programs as assigned by supervisor.
