Job Overview
Maintenance Technician I (47383) role at Two Coast Living
. As a residential Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for ongoing facility maintenance and repairs to keep the company’s multifamily property operating and appearing at its best.
- Address work orders quickly to prevent escalation into major problems.
- Perform light carpentry, minor electrical or plumbing repairs, and HVAC maintenance.
- Maintain the general cleanliness of the property, including resident amenities such as the pool and clubhouse.
- Interact with residents in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Ensure a safety‑first approach when working on the property.
- Use personal tool kit and maintain inventory; use company‑owned or personal vehicles when required.
Full‑time Monday‑through‑Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional on‑call hours and weekends as needed.
Requirements- High school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of property maintenance or hospitality experience.
- Experience in general building maintenance; light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Own tool kit and valid driver’s license.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Work hours:
Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, on‑call hours and occasional weekends. - Occasional travel by company‑owned or personal vehicle.
- Frequent lifting or moving of items weighing up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in various weather conditions.
- Manipulate tools and equipment with adequate vision and stamina.
- FLSA Status:
Nonexempt.
- Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
- Auto‑enrollment in 401(k) plan after 60 days of employment.
- Accrual of 40 vacation hours in first year; paid sick leave per state requirements.
- Paid holidays (six per year) for eligible employees after 90 days of employment.
