Panel Shop Technician

ACS is currently seeking Electrical Control Panel Technicians. Ideal candidates are self-motivated with the ability to read/understand electrical schematics:

• Construct control panels and enclosures from layout schematics
• Analyze layouts to ensure proper dimensioning & fabrication of control panels / enclosures
• Wiring of power and control circuits from electrical schematics or cut lists
• Mechanical tasks such as measuring, cutting (using hand tools), drilling, etc.
• Assist Quality Control with troubleshooting
• Travel to customer sites for field installation and commissioning of various machine tools.
• On the job training provided
• Seasonal, part-time & full-time positions available

• 2 years of related experience is preferred
• Should own basic set of hand tools (screwdrivers, wire cutters, etc.)
• Willingness to work scheduled hours – Overtime available
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, deadline driven, dynamic environment
• Ability to execute tasks individually or within an assigned group
• Detail oriented
• Basic mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication & division)
• Other duties & assignments as assigned by the shop foreman
