TheOpportunity

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Perform product and process audits to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into product design and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Oversee inspection and testing activities to verify product quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
- Experience with metrology, inspection techniques, and quality tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
- Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
- Familiarity with Minitab or other statistical software packages
- Knowledge of CMM programming and operation
