Position OverviewThis position will assist in the management of the transportation needs within the organization. Persons in this role will be responsible for various clerical needs to efficiently and accurately complete the department’s processes. Primary responsibilities will include the collection and input of required data into a series of transportation software’s.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties And Functions)- Create, review, and submit time tickets daily
- Prepare and publish orders in transportation software
- Assist with clerical data inputs
- Review and verify construction schedule for accurate and complete information
- Create and/or maintain various data logs and sheets
- Assist with trucking schedule as needed
- Assist with Central Order Desk calls
- Safety First approach to duties
- Develop professional relationships with necessary parties
- Continuous improvement with information technology systems
- Collaborate with other companies
- Other duties related to transportation may be assigned as needed

- Excellent communication skills
- Computer
Experience: - MS Office Suite 2016 or newer
- Capable of learning and utilizing transportation software
- Knowledge of general accounting practices
- Familiarity with road construction
