Farmington Public Schools is seeking a Special Education CARE Team Member (1.0 FTE) available immediately. This position serves as a teacher leader within the Special Services Department, providing comprehensive support for students with significant needs and guiding building‑based teams. The role involves facilitating Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings as an Administrative Designee, providing expert consultation on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and specialized programming.
Additionally, the position is responsible for designing and delivering professional development on a variety of topics including mental health trends, Physical Management Training, risk and threat assessments, and assisting with departmental staffing and scheduling for the district’s specialized programs.

$55,018 – $111,829 depending upon education and experience plus additional resource stipend
