Manufacturing Engineer

Full Time, Professional – Farmington, CT, US

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $ annually

• BSME or equivalent
• 5 years of work experience within a manufacturing environment
• Advanced knowledge of CAD such as NX
• Lean Six Sigma training and experience desired
• Understanding of Process Flow, PFMEA
• Excellent understanding of GD&T and standard technical drawing
• Strong customer service, organizational, and verbal skills
• Previous experience working with airfoil product preferred
• Three to five years of Manufacturing Engineer Experience

• Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows of compressor blades, vanes, and other machined components.
• Lead & manage New Product Introduction – new part routing, machining concept, and BOM.
• Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures.
• Assembles reports to document process status and changes.
• Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades.
• Communicates findings and proposals to upper management.
• Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
• Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
• Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Work with Quality Engineer to manage MRB activities.

• Knowledge of heat treatment and NDT processes
• Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations
