Salary Range: $90K - $115K/Annum plus benefits

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting complex commercial and mission‑critical projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects involving HVAC, plumbing and fire protection system design for high‑performance facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Support mechanical system design and project execution from concept through commissioning.
- Prepare coordinated construction documents including drawings, specifications, and technical details.
- Perform load calculations and equipment sizing/layout for HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams, architects, contractors, vendors and external stakeholders.
- Participate in site visits, project meetings, and construction administration activities.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Assist with commissioning activities and project closeout documentation.
- 5–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering/design within a consulting or engineering environment.
- Prior experience managing or leading engineering projects preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with building codes, ASHRAE standards and NFPA requirements.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Exposure to mission‑critical, data center, healthcare, commercial or institutional projects.
- Experience with commissioning processes and building management systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
