Job OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and maintaining the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean Manufacturing principles, proficiency in CAD software, and expertise in statistical process control.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity
- Develop and implement new processes and procedures to enhance overall manufacturing operations
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to identify and eliminate non-value-added activities
- Design and conduct experiments to test and validate process improvements
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements
- Use CAD software to design and modify manufacturing equipment and layouts
- Apply statistical process control techniques to monitor and improve product quality
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures throughout the manufacturing process
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on process improvements and best practices
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lead kaizen events
- Analyze production data and generate reports to support decision-making processes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in manufacturing processes
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies (Six Sigma certification is a plus)
- Expert-level knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works)
- Advanced skills in statistical process control and data analysis
- Experience with process simulation and modeling software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies
