Job Description Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an
** Investment Analyst**, Multi-Sector!
** About the role
** This role will support the continued growth of Symetra Investment Management's (SIM) investment portfolio working closely with the investment team to oversee the day-to-day management of the affiliated general account portfolios along with maintaining/improving the platform of investing tools to analyze portfolio strategies.
*** This is a hybrid work role based in Farmington Connecticut.

** What you will do
*** Oversee the day-to-day management of the affiliated general account and unaffiliated client portfolios and maintain/improve platform of investing tools.
* Continuously evaluate and enhance investment processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline workflows and optimize investment decision-making.
* Keep apprised of emerging industry trends and themes in insurance asset management and perform ad-hoc research projects, in pursuit of portfolio enhancement, as needed.
* Work with internal reporting professionals to develop and enhance reporting relating to portfolio positioning and performance.
