Join one of Connecticut's leading orthopedic groups as a Patient Registrar, supporting patients during some of their most important healthcare moments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, excels in patient service, and is confident navigating Epic and other medical office workflows.

You'll be the welcoming face of the practice-helping patients check in, verify insurance, collect payments, and ensure a smooth visit from start to finish.

What You'll Do

+ Warmly greet and check in patients as they arrive

+ Collect co-pays, outstanding balances, and required forms

+ Verify insurance eligibility, referrals, and authorizations

+ Update and maintain accurate patient demographics in the EMR

+ Support patient flow in a fast-paced urgent care environment

+ Navigate Epic to document patient intake and appointment details

+ Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families

+ Float between various office locations within the Hartford area as needed

+ Start early shifts (as early as 7:00 a.m.) depending on clinic and provider needs

What We're Looking For

+ Epic / EMR experience required

+ Strong background in:

+ Patient registration

+ Insurance verification

+ Check-in / check-out

+ Medical scheduling and patient intake

+ Front desk or patient-facing healthcare roles

+ Ability to handle high patient volume with professionalism and accuracy

+ Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and reliability

+ Flexibility to work early hours and support multiple office locations

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
