SAP Production Planning Systems Analyst (SAP PP)
Company OverviewPratt & Whitney is transforming flight by designing, building, and servicing advanced engines. The Digital Technology Engine Center Operations group seeks a skilled analyst to contribute to our hybrid team located in Farmington, Connecticut.
Role OverviewAs a system analyst, you will partner with cross‑functional Digital Technology teams, 3rd‑party vendors, and operations stakeholders to design and implement SAP Production Planning solutions that meet customer requirements and support the farm‑wide digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Work with business stakeholders to define process improvement opportunities for Operations Systems.
- Perform technical and functional problem solving and ensure integration with other solutions/applications.
- Participate in the SAP S/4 HANA digital transformation for the Plan to Sustain workstream.
- Document business requirements and translate them into specification documents.
- Work in cross‑functional teams to provide seamless integration between Operations and other enterprise applications.
- Lead or participate in ERP‑related projects and align stakeholders on vision, scope, schedule, and budget.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement continuous improvement opportunities using standard application configurations.
- Provide knowledge transfer to post‑go‑live support teams.
- Travel as required for business/project needs.
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field and 8 years of IT experience, OR an advanced degree and 5 years of experience, including customer‑facing, requirement gathering, design, support, and project delivery in dynamic organizations.
- 5 years of SAP configuration experience in the SAP Production Planning module; SAP S4 experience is desired.
- Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and project management skills.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- SAP PP certification (ECC/S4) or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of SAP PM or other modules.
- Experience in a complex SAP landscape.
- Proven leadership of successful process‑improvement initiatives.
- Agile mindset and history of supporting scaled agile practices.
- Program debugging experience.
- BTP/MES experience.
Hybrid – Responsibilities are performed regularly on‑site and off‑site. Commute to the Farmington campus is the employee’s responsibility.
Salary Range$101,000 – $203,000 USD
