Description

We are looking for a Systems Business Analyst. This Long-term Contract position will focus on translating business needs into well-defined system solutions, with a strong emphasis on payroll and related business processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to document requirements, support implementation efforts, and help ensure solutions align with operational goals.

Responsibilities:

- Gather input from business stakeholders and convert operational needs into clear, structured system requirements and process documentation.

- Create and maintain business requirement documents that define scope, functionality, workflows, and expected outcomes for system-related initiatives.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate business systems, identify gaps, and recommend practical improvements that support payroll and HR processes.

- Participate in Agile Scrum activities, including requirement refinement, planning discussions, and coordination with technical teams throughout delivery cycles.

- Support system implementation efforts by validating requirements, assisting with user acceptance activities, and helping confirm readiness for deployment.

- Contribute to parallel system testing by comparing outputs, documenting discrepancies, and working with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.

- Analyze business processes and system behavior to improve accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational objectives.

- Communicate progress, risks, and requirement changes to project teams and business partners in a timely and thorough manner

- Requires SAP experience with labor focus

- Requires EV5/ADP Autopay payroll processing and configuration experience

Requirements

- Proven experience in business analysis within complex business systems environments.

- Strong ability to create detailed business requirement documents and translate business needs into functional specifications.

- Hands-on experience working in Agile Scrum teams and supporting iterative project delivery.

- Knowledge of HR and payroll systems, including process analysis, validation, and issue identification.

- Experience supporting system implementation activities, testing coordination, and stakeholder collaboration.

- Ability to assess workflows, identify process gaps, and recommend effective system-based solutions.

- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.

- Requires SAP experience with labor focus

- Requires EV5/ADP Autopay payroll processing and configuration experience
