Position Overview:
We are seeking a
Cloud Operations Engineer
with strong experience in
Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)to support and optimize our client's enterprise cloud environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in
cloud migration initiatives, operational support, and infrastructure automation
, while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of cloud platforms. This role requires a professional who can
manage complex cloud environments, provide L3 technical support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support
cloud infrastructure operations
across
Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)environments. - Participate in
cloud migration projects
, assisting in the transition of
on-premises workloads to cloud platforms
. - Provide
L3 support
, including troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, performing
root cause analysis
, and implementing long-term solutions. - Implement and maintain
ITIL-based operational processes
such as
Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management
. - Administer
Active Directory (AD)and support
identity and access management
activities. - Collaborate with development and Dev Ops teams to support
CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and environment stability
. - Develop and implement
automation and scripting solutions
to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks. - Monitor system performance, ensure
high availability and reliability
of cloud services, and proactively address potential issues. - Coordinate with
internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors
to ensure seamless operations and timely issue resolution.
Education Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with
Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)cloud operations. - Experience with
cloud migration projects
, particularly
on-premises to cloud transformations
. - Good understanding of
ITIL processes
including
Incident, Change, and Problem Management
. - Experience with
Active Directory administration
and
identity management
. - Working knowledge of
Dev Ops practices
,
CI/CD pipelines
, and
deployment workflows
. - Experience in
automation and scripting
to improve infrastructure and operational efficiency. - Ability to provide
L3 support
, including complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis. - Strong
communication, team collaboration, and stakeholder management
skills.
