The Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Manager will lead the strategy, implementation, governance, and ongoing operations of the organization’s enterprise DLP program. This role will establish and mature DLP capabilities designed to protect sensitive and regulated information across Microsoft 365, endpoints, cloud applications, and other data environments.

The DLP Manager will partner with Cybersecurity, Information Protection, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Infrastructure, Identity, Endpoint, and business stakeholders to translate data protection requirements into effective DLP policies and controls. The role will own key components of the DLP policy lifecycle, including testing, piloting, deployment, monitoring, and tuning, while balancing security objectives with user experience, business productivity, regulatory requirements, and operational risk.

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for DLP across Microsoft 365, endpoints, and supported cloud services.
• Configure and administer DLP policies, rules, alerts, incidents, notifications, and reporting.
• Establish and maintain DLP governance, standards, processes, and procedures.
• Lead the continuous maturity of DLP capabilities across Microsoft 365 and endpoint environments.
• Develop KPIs, KRIs, dashboards, metrics, and executive reporting for the DLP program.
• Partner with application, data, endpoint, identity, security architecture, and business teams to implement effective DLP controls.
• Support audits, regulatory examinations, risk assessments, and control testing.
• Develop training and awareness programs to improve understanding of DLP controls.
• Evaluate new DLP capabilities and determine their applicability to the organization.
• Lead DLP policy lifecycle activities, including testing, deployment, monitoring, tuning, and recertification.

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information protection, data security, or a related technology discipline.
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing DLP, information protection, or similar security programs.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities.
• Experience developing, implementing, and operating enterprise security policies and controls.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 services and enterprise identity and endpoint technologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience developing executive-level reporting, metrics, and program roadmaps.

• Microsoft certifications related to Security, Compliance, Identity, or Microsoft 365.
• Experience implementing DLP across Microsoft 365, endpoints, cloud applications, and Microsoft Defender.
• Experience with DLP automation, remediation, and integration with SIEM/SOAR platforms.
• Knowledge of data classification, information governance, privacy regulations, and modern data protection architectures.
• Experience leading DLP programs and cybersecurity teams within large or highly regulated enterprises.

This is a hybrid role, Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
