Job Title:Logistics Coordinator
Summary:This position is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and communication of escalated customer shipments, inventory discrepancies and data entry and reporting for the receiving team.
Essential Functions of the Job:The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following:
- Serve as the main point of contact for commercial teams (Sales, Customer Experience) to elevate customer shipment needs and order inquiries.
- Field and respond to shipment-related inquiries via email in a timely and professional manner.
- Locate and confirm inventory availability in SAP to support open customer orders.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to prioritize, pick, pack, and ship orders, including expedited/air-freight orders.
- Provide daily updates to commercial teams on orders shipped and orders planned to ship, including any delays or exceptions.
- Verify quantities against packing slips and shipping documentation.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and work to resolve them with other departments
- Clean up Receiving area reports
Recommended Education and/or
Experience:
- Prior experience working with an ERP system (SAP preferred)
- Experience with H.T.S. (Harmonized Tariff Codes) codes and Incoterms.
- Bachelors Degree in a related field; or minimum two years related experience; or combination of education and related experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
