Position: CNC Machinist (Large-Parts) Shift: 2nd Hour: 3:30pm - Midnight Type:
Full-Time Mode:
Direct Placement Pay Range: $24-33 Industry: Manufacturing
Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Machinist (large parts). This a contract to permanent / direct placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a High School diploma or equivalent as well as 2-3 years of experience with CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers.
- Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers/machines/processes.
- Work from blueprint requirements.
- Select tools, set feeds and speeds.
- Perform inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Operate overhead cranes for large-part manufacturing.
- Maintain a clean work environment and shop floor (tools, equipment, machines, etc.).
- Re-order tools as needed.
- 2-3 years of experience with CNC Milling, CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss.
- High School Diploma, GED, or Vocational School Training.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Perform inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools.
