Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automatic Power Press Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in set-up, tool and die maintenance, and stamping operations. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our company's growth and success while developing their skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate automatic power presses safely and efficiently to produce high-quality stamped parts
  • Perform machine set-up, including tool and die installation, adjustment, and alignment
  • Monitor press operations, making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency
  • Conduct regular inspections of finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
  • Perform preventive maintenance on presses, tools, and dies to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with presses and tooling
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
  • Accurately complete production reports and maintain detailed records of press operations
  • Assist in training new operators and sharing best practices with colleagues
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures
Qualifications and

Skills Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automatic Power Press Operator
  • Proficiency in set-up, tool and die maintenance, and stamping operations
  • Strong understanding of press operations, tooling, and metal forming processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Experience with various types of stamping presses (e.g., mechanical, hydraulic, servo)
  • Knowledge of quality control techniques and inspection methods
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges)
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
