CNC Machinist (Large-Parts)

Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Machinist (large parts). This is a contract to permanent / direct placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a High School diploma or equivalent as well as 2-3 years of experience with CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss.

Principle Duties

• Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers.
• Performs Machine Adjustments and Troubleshoots Controllers / Machines / Processes.
• Works from Blueprint Requirements.
• Selects Tools, Sets Feeds and Speeds.
• Perform Inspection of Machined Parts using Precision Hand Tools.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Operates Overhead Cranes for Large-Part Manufacturing.
• Maintains a clean work environment and shop floor (tools, equipment, machines, etc.).
• Re-orders tools as needed.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience with CNC Milling, CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss.
• High School diploma OR GED OR vocational school training.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Perform inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools.
