- Tru Laser? You’ll be:
Assembling mechanical components and machines according to engineering drawings, part lists, blueprints, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics
Using precision tools (torque wrenches, depth gauges, dial indicators, digital levels) to achieve exact tolerances
Operating overhead cranes and fixtures to move and assemble heavy components
Collaborating with supervisors and colleagues to achieve team goals
Maintaining an organized and clean work area following lean principles
Following all safety protocols and using PPE to ensure a safe work environment
Contributing to continuous improvement by providing input and feedback
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in assembly OR 5 years in machine tool manufacturing, maintenance, or service
Are able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive reaching and bending
Can read and work from schematics, blueprints, and part lists
Are skilled with accurate measuring devices in both imperial and metric systems
Have strong attention to detail
Preferred: experience with electrical wiring assembly, computer literacy, and forklift operation
