We are seeking a reliable Assembly Technicians to fill open positions in Farmington, CT. In this role, you will assemble large-scale mechanical components using various hand and power tools. You will be responsible for following assembly instructions, using basic computer software to track work, and maintaining a high standard of quality and workplace safety.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical assembly on large units using precise measuring devices and assembly tools.
Safely operate manual and power tools, applying up to 50 lbs of torque.
Transport components and finished assemblies across the floor using pallet jacks.
Use computer systems to review build specifications, track job progress, and log inventory.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
Mechanical Aptitude:
Strong understanding of manual assembly and basic mechanics
Experience operating the following tools:
Hand drills and rivet guns
Screwdrivers and allen wrenches
Socket wrenches, vise-grips, and pliers
Wire strippers and tape guns
Ability to read measuring devices accurately and navigate basic computer applications.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 7 hours per day and handle physical assembly tasks.
