- Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a), rotating weekends and holidays

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or compact state (CT nursing license or multistate)
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU and/or Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience in acute care
- Current CPR, ACLS, and BLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, current
- EPIC EMR experience preferred (clinical documentation/acute care charting)
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccination (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Float across ICU, Intermediate Unit, and Emergency Department to provide high-quality critical care nursing
- Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients; respond rapidly to clinical emergencies
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced monitoring as indicated for ICU/ED patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in EPIC EMR and adhere to hospital policies and safety standards
- Educate patients and families on care plans, safety, and discharge instructions when appropriate
