Licensed Practical Nurse,

Schedule:

Full time, 40 hours per week. Rotating shifts: 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; 30‑minute unpaid meal break.

Minimum salary: $66,65.00

• Prepare, maintain, and operate anesthesia equipment; assist anesthesiologists and CRNAs during surgery.
• Clean, sterilize, and stock equipment in the operating room, ensuring safety and proper function.
• Support patient care during procedures, including monitoring and responding to physiological changes.
• Manage supplies and maintain operating room setup to ensure efficient anesthesia delivery.
• Assist in general patient care, medication administration, documentation, and safety protocols.

• Licensed to practice nursing in Connecticut by the State Board of Examiners for Nursing.
• Knowledge of practical nursing specialties and bedside care.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Basic knowledge of medical and laboratory sciences.
• Ability to keep accurate records and maintain documentation.
• Some ability to lead staff.
• Experience in acute care hospital settings and anesthesia support roles.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, good communication skills, and troubleshooting of equipment.
