Job Summary:
The Oncology Clinic Outpatient Nurse is a position located in Farmington, Connecticut. This role involves providing care to oncology patients within an outpatient ambulatory care setting, primarily focusing on medical and hematology oncology. The position offers days shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends, no on-call duties, and no major holidays. Candidates with at least two years of experience, prior travel experience, and specific oncology skills are preferred.

Days, 8 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week - Required Qualifications:
2 years of nursing experience, prior travel experience, CT license or compact license on file, oncology care experience, and ability to work in a team environment. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in outpatient ambulatory care or outpatient clinic setting, ONS chemotherapy immunotherapy provider card. - Additional Information:
Incumbents may be required to lift and restrain patients and may have exposure to communicable or infectious diseases. Responsibilities include answering phone call triages, problem-solving to meet patient care needs, and collaborating with the clinical team. While the position may work closely with nursing staff in the chemotherapy infusion room, it does not involve directly administering infusion therapies. Locals accepted.
During the assignment, staff are considered part of the rotational coverage pool and may be required to work additional hours as needed.
