Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Provide specialized emergency care as a registered nurse in a fast-paced ER setting. Deliver high-quality patient care while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival.
- Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately.
- Float to Psychiatric Hold area as needed to support departmental demands.
- Work every other weekend, including nights, with call and holiday rotation requirements.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid RN license with current state licensure.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
- Possess at least 1 year of prior travel ER experience.
- Maintain active certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI.
- Be flexible to work extended hours and mandatory overtime as part of the team.
- Exhibit strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
