Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Quality Engineer is a hands-on position responsible for ensuring quality of manufactured parts. In this role you will:
Implement and maintain the company quality system, documenting processes and procedures accordingly Create and revise SOPs, work instructions, and forms Conduct receiving, in-process, and final product inspections, documenting results; determine and update inspection and test procedures Conduct Quality audits Assist with preparation for management reviews Calibrate shop floor measurement equipment and manage calibration for new tools Establish and capture quality-related metrics Consult to manufacturing to ensure quality product is being produced Perform root cause analysis;

communicate and document findings of any non-conforming product Interface with customers, suppliers and/or regulatory agencies as appropriate Oversee source inspections and complete all associated documentation Assist in the identification and selection of new vendors Review and analyze quality records, methods and plans to improve performance and reduce waste

About You:

AS in Engineering or related or 5 years of experience

Experience with quality inspection techniques and measuring equipment Familiarity with ISO
