Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, students, and visitors;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions;
Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or policy violations;
Support campus operations by observing surroundings, reporting maintenance or hazard-related issues, and coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed
