Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations to detailed specifications and engineering requirements.
- Properly clean and prepare components prior to welding.
- Maintain qualification to Mott MES welding specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and standards within a clean‑room work environment.
- Adhere to all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and safety requirements.
- Learning and mastering multiple welding processes and specialized equipment.
- Strict adherence to HP cleanliness and quality requirements.
- Consistently meeting precision and inspection standards in a regulated environment.
- Weld solid and porous metal products in accordance with specifications.
- Assemble components for welding operations.
- Remove oxidation from welds following welding operations.
- Clean all solid subassemblies prior to welding.
- Perform leak testing and required quality inspections.
- Shear solid and porous metals to specification.
- Form solid and porous metals to specification.
- Pin‑mark required information on finished hardware.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of manufacturing experience with TIG welding.
- Prior experience with TIG welding equipment preferred.
- TIG welding proficiency.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, prints, and specifications.
- Understanding of quality and cleanliness requirements in manufacturing environments.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Positive, professional, and constructive attitude.
- Team‑oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Desire to learn and continuously improve.
- Organized, proactive, and dependable.
- Ability to adapt and perform in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
Compensation range: $37,500.00 – $56,300.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for a performance‑based bonus plan.
