The Town of Farmington is seeking a Youth Coordinator to plan, organize, and supervise recreational, social, and youth development services through the Town’s youth drop-in center. The position also provides youth and family advocacy and casework and may coordinate a youth employment service as needed.
The Youth Coordinator will develop and oversee programs and services for youth collaborate with schools, police, courts, and community agencies; provide referrals and advocacy services; supervise volunteers; maintain case records and reports; and assist with grant-funded youth programs.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- At least two years of relevant experience, including one year in youth casework, group work, community organization, planning, or youth advocacy.
- Ability to establish positive relationships with youth ages 12–19.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with or ability to participate in adventure-based programming preferred.
