Warehouse Worker
We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to support daily warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling activities. This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, scanning, loading, unloading, and transporting products while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, forklift operation skills, and a strong commitment to quality, productivity, and workplace safety.
OrderPicking & Fulfillment
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems.
- Locate products in designated warehouse storage locations.
- Verify product quantities, item numbers, and order specifications.
- Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies before shipment.
- Ensure all orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Meet daily productivity and order fulfillment goals.
- Pack products securely to prevent damage during transportation.
- Stage, organize, and prepare outgoing shipments.
- Wrap, secure, and palletize products according to shipping requirements.
- Seal, label, and weigh packages accurately.
- Ensure shipping labels and documentation are completed correctly.
- Verify shipment contents prior to carrier pickup.
- Operate RF scanners to scan, track, and record inventory movements.
- Update inventory records accurately within warehouse systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate product and location tracking.
- Assist with cycle counting and inventory verification activities as assigned.
- Load, unload, move, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Handle incoming and outgoing shipments safely and efficiently.
- Move products between storage, staging, shipping, and production areas.
- Organize materials to support efficient workflow and inventory accessibility.
- Lift, carry, and relocate materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials and inventory.
- Use pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment as needed.
- Load and unload trucks using powered industrial equipment.
- Conduct basic equipment inspections before use.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety guidelines when operating equipment.
- Receive incoming shipments and compare items against purchase orders.
- Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or incorrect items.
- Record and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Label and store received inventory properly.
- Ensure efficient material flow throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain clear aisles, designated storage locations, and organized work areas.
- Arrange materials according to warehouse layout and storage procedures.
- Scan, label, and identify inventory accurately.
- Support warehouse housekeeping and cleanliness initiatives.
- Assist with warehouse reorganization projects when needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain compliance with company safety standards.
- Report accidents, near misses, safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Participate in safety training and warehouse meetings.
- Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and production teams.
- Assist coworkers in meeting departmental goals.
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience.
- Minimum 6 months of forklift operating experience.
- Experience with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory activities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Proficiency using RF scanners.
- Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of warehouse inventory processes.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
- Basic understanding of warehouse documentation and pick lists.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Reliable and dependable work habits.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
