RSU #9 is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Math Interventionist to contribute to our Title I program, serving students in grades K-5. This position involves providing essential Tier 1, 2, and 3 math support under the direction of certified teachers or independetly, based on appropriate certification. Key responsibilities include assisting with math assessments, implementing intervention plans in small group or one-on-one settings, monitoring student progress, and collaborating effectively with classroom teachers to ensure alignment with curriculum goals.

Candidates should possess experience working with elementary-aged students and demonstrate a solid understanding of fundamental math concepts.

• Ed Tech III Certification required
• Teacher Endoresement prefered

• Maine DOE Certification

• General Elementary (020), Teacher
  - Math(300), or similar endorsement prefered

• Travel between schools or district buildings may be required.

Building Principal & works closely with the District Math Coordinator

  9) $23.81 - $28.11 per hour
• Professional Teacher $43,721 - $81,299 annually
• Final rate is determined by candidate qualifications, relevant experience, certification and skills.

• As determined annually by the District.
• This is a one year position.

Completed annually by Principal or their designee.
