Overview

The Emergency Department Technician II – FH role assists the healthcare team in the completion of specific patient care tasks. Upon successful completion of an IV course, performs IVs.

  Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant OR completion of a National Registry EMT-B or EMT-A course, OR completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with 160 hours of clinical experience required.

  Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

• Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:
  Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology. Training in phlebotomy and performing EKGs.
