Nurse Practitioner - Geriatric

Overview

Maine Health Geriatric Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to care for patients at Maine Health Franklin Hospital in Farmington, Maine. The NP will provide primary care services including assessment, diagnosis, prescribing, treatment and education of patients. The role supports patients in the hospital and in the nursing home setting, working closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach, and collaborating with geriatricians and other APPs.

The position is part‑time (20 hours per week, 2 days per week) and welcomes new graduates.

• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Two years of NP experience preferred, but not required.
• Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
