Sandy River Center is a skilled nursing facility offering post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation as well as long-term and respite care. Our staff is dedicated to serving the medical and rehabilitation needs of individuals recovering from an illness or injury. Our therapy team specializes in cognitive wellness and dementia support programs, falls risk management and has expertise in environmental assessment and modification for home safety.

The center is conveniently located across the street from Franklin Memorial Hospital, and the property includes beautiful gardens and river views from most residential rooms and common areas. Our therapists provide treatment in our small but cozy clinic, and also utilize the homestyle commons areas to support transition to home. We also work closely with the activities department to prescribe wellness activities to support maintenance of their physical and mental health.

Residents are encouraged to participate in the cultivation of the plants and enjoy paved walking trails around the property which are equipped with resting benches. Keeping in similar vain as the University of Maine, Farmington campus, we offer ample education opportunities and unlimited access to CEUS through our Medbridge Education platform.
