Role Overview:
This position involves delivering high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The licensed practical nurse (LPN) evaluates patient/resident conditions, contributes to assessments and care planning, administers medications, and monitors unlicensed staff providing care.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients/residents, observe and report changes in condition
- Assist with nursing assessments and care planning
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered
- Supervise and monitor care provided by unlicensed staff
- Graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing program
- Current licensure or pending licensure by the State Board of Nursing
- Maintain BLS/CPR certification as required
Provide efficient, effective nursing care to achieve positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction while adhering to licensing and certification requirements.
