Float Pool Certified Nursing Assistant

Sandy River Center, a Genesis Health Care skilled nursing and rehab facility in Farmington, ME, is seeking a Float Pool Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care across multiple units. In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care while promoting dignity, comfort, and safety. As part of an interdisciplinary, clinically focused team, you will monitor and report resident changes, support rehab and long-term care needs, and follow strict infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper safety techniques
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to licensed nursing staff
• Measure and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output as directed
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
• Maintain clean, safe resident rooms and common areas
• Follow infection control, safety, and privacy policies at all times
• Float between units to meet staffing needs and support team coverage
• Document care accurately in electronic or paper records
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality/safety initiatives
