A Full‑Time Merchandiser Order Writer is a frontline force for retail excellence. As a Brand Execution Merchant, you’ll bring world‑famous snacks like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy!, and Triscuit to life in‑store—building relationships, stocking shelves, executing displays, and ensuring shoppers always find their favorite snacks where they expect them. Your work delights consumers, drives results, and keeps our iconic brands front and center: perfectly placed, impossible to miss, and always in stock.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Represent Mondelēz in‑store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence, acting as the face of iconic brands on the biscuit aisle.
- Serve as the face of the company, delivering outstanding customer service to both store teams and shoppers.
- Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’ Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos via the digital merchandising initiative (DMI).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel—backroom receivers and store managers—to support execution and visibility of our brands.
- Order product via iPad to maintain in‑stock conditions for both shelf and display using Salesforce.
- Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with Retail Territory Manager (RTM) negotiated plans with the stores.
- Follow daily schedules and priorities set by your RTM for efficient coverage among your retail team and colleagues.
- Support seasonal sales: new product launches and high‑visibility merchandising events.
- Communicate store‑level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and management team.
- Stay safe and compliant, embracing the physical nature of the role—lifting, bending, and moving product through a snack‑powered hustle.
- Retail Execution Excellence—skilled in implementing planograms, building displays, and maintaining shelf standards that drive visibility and sales.
- Customer Service Mindset—approachable, upbeat, and committed to delivering a positive experience for store teams and shoppers.
- Digital Fluency—comfortable using mobile tools (iPad/tablet & applications) to place orders, capture photos, and follow daily schedules.
- Collaborative Communication—able to build trust with store personnel and communicate effectively with RTMs and management.
- Adaptability & Initiative—flexible in responding to store needs, seasonal priorities, and promotional opportunities with a proactive attitude.
- Physical Readiness—energetic and capable of lifting, bending, and moving product throughout the day with pride and purpose.
- Time & Task Management—organized and efficient in following daily schedules and completing store visits consistently.
- At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license issued by the state where you reside.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; or the ability to earn a GED while gaining the required skills.
- 1–3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred.
- Positive and professional attitude, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
- Ability to drive personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations (mileage reimbursed).
- Ability to perform hard work in a fast‑paced environment and meet physical demands: repetitive lifting, bending, carrying up to 25 lb and occasionally pushing or pulling over 50 lb.
- Live within 25–35 miles of Farmington, ME; secondary locations include Mexico, Rumford, Skohegan, and Jay, ME.
- Schedule availability:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and one weekend day per week.
Hourly compensation ranges from $20.69 to $22.69 based on relevant experience.
